Yesterday morning I was just walking out the door to go to the gym (yea!!!) when Kamri comes running up the stairs in a panic saying something is tapping on her window. I told her to go wake up her dad and we would go down and check it out. (I am a chicken. I was not going to go by myself.) We looked around in the window well and it was still pretty dark so we obviously couldn't see anything. The cover was still over the window so we figured it was probably just nothing.
Fast forward a few hours, Kynsli, Konnor and I are out playing in the backyard and I decided to go take a peek in the window well to see if I could see maybe what could have been making the noise. This is what I found..........
When Kamri came home from school she was so excited to find this little creature in her window. She wrote a song about how she was going to take care of it and it was going to become her best friend. Seth told her she could keep it until he got off work today and then he was going to let it go.
This is the current residence of the rabbit for about 7 more hours. We would love to keep you little buddy, but we just can't.

how did the letting it go, go over? it sure is cute. hopefully she didn't name it. that is always harder to say goodbye when it has a name. at least it was a cute fury creature.
