On Saturday, our family participated in the Relay for Life. My most favorite part was when they turned off the lights at the football field and everyone lit up the luminaries in honor of those who have passed on and those who are survivors. There was a calmness that came over the field and everyone took a lap around the track in silence.
It was such an incredible experience.
We hope to be able to do it again next year.
