On Tuesday we went to a pumpkin patch with some of the guys Seth works with and their families. We had alot of fun and came home with 5 big pumpkins. The kids have been begging to carve them every night. Last night we finally gave in.
Here are the results.......
The one on the left is suppose to be Frankenstein. Use your imagination!
This one is Kynsli's. She drew the pattern on the pumpkin but had to have some help cutting it out.
This one is Kamri's. She did everything all by herself. While she was cleaning it out, she kept complaining how gross it was but didn't quit until she was done.
We had to make sure that you would be able to read this one in the dark and of course we had to take a picture. (picture taken in the laundry room with the light off because it wasn't dark outside yet)
Cleaning out and carving the pumpkins was alot of work. I think this is the first time we have carved pumpkins since Seth and I got married. This may be the one and only time that we do so I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.

Sweet! We're supposed to go to some friends house tomorrow and carve pumpkins and I had no idea what to do, hope you don't mind I'll probably just copy one of yours :)

You guys did a great job. Mark hates to clean out the pumpkin. He can gut a deer but won't clean out a pumpkin. I don't get it. I still have to go buy pumpkins. I'm hoping I can get away with the plug in pumpkin this year. We'll see.
Those pumpkins look great! I think carving pumpkins is way too much work, but the kids love it. Did you guys use patterns or just do that yourself?
Those are so cute!!! We miss you guys. When it starts getting unbearably cold, why don't you come stay with us for a few days. We'd love to have ya!
Seriously? Please tell me you used stencils? If those are free hand I might be sick :) They are AWESOME!!
