This last Saturday, we loaded in the truck and headed out for a drive up Wolverine Canyon and around Palisades Reservoir. The trees were all changing color which made for a very pretty drive.
We saw probably 5 or 6 of these big nests. 
This moose was just hanging out waiting for someone to take his picture.

the only thing I miss about living up north is the changing leaves.
Very fun!! We're finally getting settled in and getting ready for our first road trip weekend too.... I'm ready :)
