Last weekend we decided to get out of town and headed for Jackson Hole with some friends. We rented a 15 passenger van which ended up causing us more problems than we had bargained for. It was 2 wheel drive and we of course had to drive over a mountain pass in the snow. We were assured by the rental car place that we would have no problems. I think you can tell where this story is going. We luckily had taken some chains along with us but after about the 5th time of trying to get the chains to stay in place and not bang against the side of the van the husbands gave up and we took the chains off. Luckily we were almost to Jackson. While we were in Jackson we went swimming, played in the snow, took a sleigh ride through an elk preserve, played some games, ate some delicious food and just enjoyed each others company.
Thanks Webb's for inviting us and hooking us up with a sweet place to sleep.

Looks like a fun trip, I'm a little jealous. I can't believe you were in that much snow last weekend and we were in San Diego in shorts/swim suits... crazy!!

O.K. first of all I love your washer and dryer!!! I really want a set like that. What a fun trip, but it looks dang cold.

We know how if feels to drive in snow in 2 wheel drive... or sand in Littlefield for that matter. Some day we'll have 4 wheel drive :)
