This last weekend my mom, my brother and his wife came and visited us. They got here late Friday night and we just chatted it up until we were too tired to chat anymore. Saturday we spent most of the day playing the Wii. My brother had brought a couple of games with him so we enjoyed having something else to play beside tennis and bowling. I have to say I have a new favorite game. American Idol on the Wii. I just wish it had country songs instead of pop rock. I don't think I have listened to a pop rock song in years. Saturday night we piled in the car and headed to Idaho Falls to a movie and dinner. My mom knew from previous experience that Konnor does not do well at the movies so she hung out at the house with him. We did talk her into going out to eat with us though after the movie. Sunday we went to church, of course, and I taught the most profound lesson to my primary class. Yeah right!!! After church, you guessed it, we played some more Wii and then tromped through a foot of snow to take some family pictures. Thanks Bethany!!!! We officially hold the record for the fasted photo shoot ever. From the time we left the house, took the pictures and returned home it was about 15 minutes. Good Job Everybody. Also on Sunday we were able to visit with Seth's brother Nate and his family for a little while. Monday we all went out to breakfast and then they headed home. It was sad to see them go but we had a great time while they were here.
Side note: I never remember to take any pictures until I go to post something on this blog and then I realize I don't have any.
